By requesting an estimate, signing a contract, or using any construction services provided by Catalyst Construction LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Catalyst Construction LLC provides general contracting services, including custom homes, remodels, renovations, additions, kitchens and baths, and commercial builds across the Big Island of Hawaii. The specific scope of services for each project will be outlined in your written contract or signed estimate. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.
Estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing. An estimate becomes a binding agreement only when both parties sign a written contract outlining scope of work, timeline, materials, and total price.
The Client is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the project site at scheduled times. Delays caused by lack of access, Client-sourced materials, or Client-requested changes may extend the project timeline and incur additional charges.
Payment terms are outlined in each signed contract. Typical arrangements include an initial deposit, progress payments tied to milestones, and a final payment upon substantial completion. We accept check, ACH transfer, and major credit cards. Late payments may incur reasonable late fees, and unpaid balances are subject to collection proceedings and mechanic's lien rights as permitted by Hawaii law.
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties, including the cost and schedule impact of the change.
We stand behind our workmanship. Catalyst Construction LLC provides a limited workmanship warranty on labor as outlined in your signed contract. Material and product warranties are passed through from the manufacturer. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.
By providing your phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree that Catalyst Construction LLC may send you SMS messages related to your inquiry, estimate, appointment reminders, project updates, or ongoing service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving construction services.
Catalyst Construction LLC is not liable for:
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the work in question.
We reserve the right to decline, pause, or discontinue service to any Client at our sole discretion, including situations involving unsafe conditions, harassment, or non-payment.
Catalyst Construction LLC is licensed and insured in the State of Hawaii. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Third Circuit of the State of Hawaii.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
